I have now had this product for a little over a month. Used it 6 times. It arrived intact and as described.
Seemed to be reasonably sturdy. I liked the design and the color of the material (tan).
I am slim at 5'9-168 so the width of the chair was fine for me. Not hard to open up. Definitely kind of heavy for lugging to the beach unless you have a cart. For me I have been able to balance the position I want to lay in without having to use the position lock. I have used it to lay out on the deck to sunbathe. VERY comfortable! The only criticisms I have are the plastic arms which are a little uncomfortable especially when you sweat (easily solved by draping a beach towel over the arms) and the footrest which is a little hard for bare feet but hey, nothing is perfect. Overall very satisfied with the product so far. Of course time will tell if it lasts. We will see.

TL:DR Great Chair I own 2
I bought this chair about 2 years ago now, still holding up well. What has the chair been through in the last two years? Hell.First a little about me, I am 240lb and 6'4" and I have a history of breaking all chairs that I sit in for any length of time, in my last apartment I went through 5 chairs in 3 years. I guess I sit hard.First thing I did with this chair was indulge in my nostalgia playing World of Warcraft Classic for about 8 months on a near daily basis for many hundreds of hours. Chair held up well.Then I decided to learn how to code during quarantine, spent another 6 months in this chair and about 1,600 hours during that time, and the chair is still here, in fact I am sitting in the original chair right now as I am writing this.I ended up building myself a standing desk for continued software development and now I use this chair for gaming/entertainment purposes only. I couldn't say strongly enough how impressed I am that this chair has held up so well, and that I have never treated it gently.Having said all of that, I have some critisisms.#1 issue is height, at 6'4" tall I often find myself wishing that the foot rest was 6-12 inches further away and that the seat was at least 6 inches higher off the ground. Though I know the chair would then be too big for most people to sit in comfortably.#2 issue is locking, the knobs on the sides that the user can tighten to lock the chair into the position it is in, are woefully weak for the task. Again this is an acute issue due in part to my size, but keep in mind that these knobs can be turned with maximum effort and the chair will continue to move when sufficient weight is applied to it. I would prefer a system of holes and a steel locking pin, this is more crude but I am a crude solution type of person.Photos above, #1 my original chair with adjustments(added blanket for headrest due to my height my head would sit on the metal bar) and also added a tie down strap at my desired lean angle to no longer require the use of the build in angle adjustment knob system. #2 is the second Amazon Basics chair that, whos frame I used to test a little side project, replacing the default mesh with wood backing and seat and a wooden headrest. It has some flaws but something an uncompromising surface is what you want for back support
