PK Grills first got its start being sold out of the trunk of a car by inventor Hilton Meigs. Hilton wanted to create the perfect “portable kitchen” and, after some trial and error, he created his perfect grill. Hilton’s original grill is the same design that PK Grills uses today. This portable grill has stood the test of time.
The company was bought by a manufacturer and moved to Arkansas where production continued. The grills were a national hit from the 50s to the 70s.
