First time doing a piglet and first time with a stand alone rotisserie. This thing is great. Easy to assemble and manage. It is a simple but extremely effective design. We did a 30 pound piglet and it seemed like a perfect match. The spit is two pieces and is reverse threaded so once assembled it is not likely to come apart with the rotation. I ordered extra forks and used a total of three to secure the piglet then bound it every six inches or so with cooking string. Piggy stayed in place while rotisserie and fire did the rest. I did receive the wrong leg shackles but customer service was quick to remedy that with fast and friendly service and great communication. The motor is surprisingly quiet, and well, you can tell that our event went well. The rotisserie comes with an exploded view sheet that identifies parts and was all that I needed to get things assembled and rotating but just in case there is a more complete manual online. I did use four 3/8&quot; X 10&quot; lag screws instead of the included pegs to secure this to the ground but only because I made a pad out of gravel to have a level base. Excellent warranty. Ok, I 'm happy, and I obviously would recommend one of these, even to a friend.

First time doing a piglet

Great quality. Big enough for a pig, turkey, goat, etc. I bought extra forks to use for multiple chickens, etc. your friends will be impressed with the size and quality.

Big strong rotisserie

Was optimistic with the purchase, and it does not disappoint. Quality is excellent, easy to setup and can't wait to start using it. Definitely will get many years of good food off of it.

Awesome setup and great quality

Easy set up, easy clean up, all stainless, very quiet motor roasted an almost 50lb pig with ease and really was a crowd pleaser because of its simplicity and looks. Very practical with the included zippered flat carrying case. Would buy it again and recommend highly. Would have given 5 stars but for the bar being only 52 inches, which is kind of short given the advertised weight capacity.

Great spit, quiet, easy to use crowd pleaser

I actually liked the product a lot, it is attractive, ran very quietly and functioned just fine. But why are there no instructions? Putting it together was fairly straight forward but usually even the most simple products to assemble come with instructions. And it would have been nice to have some sort of instructions on how attach the animal to the rotisserie and maybe some tips on cooking etc. But there was nothing! I would have given it a 5 star otherwise.

Why are there no instructions?

This spit was simple to use and worked very well for a 41 pound whole pig. Came packaged in its own zippered bag which was a real plus for us. Easy set-up, easy clean-up and it worked as advertised. Realistically the bar is far too short for a pig or lamb larger than about 50 pounds, but this is a fine spit and a bargain for the money. Attendees of the pig-roast were very impressed with the spit, as were we. Recommend and happy we made the purchase.

Simple to use, worked very well

Bought this back beginning of the year for a early summer party but due to covid that got put on hold. Works like expected motor is quiet. Wish more rings were included and they would have sanded off the burrs from the cut and bent brackets. Ended up with 3 cuts from various burrs on the uprights so will need to sand down all the edges. Glad I didn’t let my kids help set this up.

It would have been better if there's a speed control for the rotisserie.  It runs fast but otherwise happy with its materials and its built

Very disappointed #1 unable to fit the spit rod in the channel to get it into the motor channel is narrow.#2 bracket that is welded onto the motor to slide down I'm too legs is welding on crooked unable to fit it into the pulley ,pulley it's more to one side not centered . #3 very difficult to get
